KISD is one of the most Technology intensive campuses in India. We are trendsetters in information resources. We have made a commitment to deliver outstanding information resources and the latest information technology to the students.
 
Campus Network 
The Campus Network is based on a fibre optic back bone and 100 MBPS ethernet technology. The Campus Network covers the institute, class rooms, library, hostels sprawling over a area of 20 Acres. The intranet has 390 computers which are interconnected by an optic fiber / wireless network.         
 
Internet@ 1.5 mbps
All members on the intranet have access to Internet 24 hours a day, through 1.5 mbps TCP/IP Leased Lines. This is has been a pioneering effort by KISD. We are planning to upgrade the Internet access speed to 2 Mbps
 
Computer Center
The Computer Center has over 250 Pentium PCs, Printers, and Scanner, Digital Cameras.
 
Software library 
The software library has over 100 applications covering Office Suites, Compilers, Development Software, Internet Software
 
Services 
The Computer Resource Centre provides various network based services such as Internet, Groupware, Database, Proxy, EMail.

We have developed and implemented many applications in the institute - Library Information System, Academic Information System, Accounting Information System, Work Flow Applications, Inventory Management System, Payroll System, Internet Survey(iSurvey), Examination On-Line(EOL) etc.
